Beautifully Wo-human!

Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come" - Psalm 71:18 [NIV]

The other day I was speaking to my parents on a zoom call. I was having one of those 'fired up' moments when  I said - 'I am so thankful for all the things I've been through, because God has been helping me all this while to strengthen/deepen my foundation, I am afraid of nothing now, I can even put my hand in a Lion's mouth" - Think I was under the influence, except I don't know what exactly LOL

Life with God can be like that sometimes. One moment you are afraid of nothing and the next you are like a mouse trying to get out of a trap. I turned 34 this year and God knows, looking back on my life, I have had many moments where I actually thought it was the end. Like, I promise I didn't know I was going to make it out alive. All of the pages through the years have taught me that LIFE is indeed a journey and the difference between me and the other person caught in a tight spot is really "PERCEPTION'. Like how do we see the things we see and the things we have to deal/put up with. I say put up with, because really sometimes you are minding your own business, when trouble comes to find you LOL...

My faith in God is the light that helps me navigate dark paths. Once I was lost and then my Saviour found me and I am really all about helping others light thier own paths too. I really don't know what God's plan is for your life. I haven't even lived that many years [insert - what-do-i-even-know-here] but I know for a FACT that God can be trusted. I have also come to realise that nothing else pales in comparison to the true worth of knowing Christ and belonging to God. I am so grateful that God chose me, because if he didn't I won't be here right this very moment sharing this with you!

So let's do this every Monday. Let's talk about the things closest to my heart, in the hope that you catch the flame to light your own path too.

Let's do it, one post at a time!
