The 3D Perspective! ♡♡♡

 

"So  if you are serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don't shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ- that's where the action is. See things from his perspective" -   Colossians 3 1-2

Phew!, what a bougabouga this past week has been for me [Don't ask me what that means? lol], but here I am. I am super super grateful. One of the things I love love about my intimacy with God is the adventure, but even more so His silent foot prints when life gets tough. When you are with Him, He will stick with you like super glue and blow your mind in so many different ways. Here me loud and clear when I say, when you are in over your head, you can be rest assured God will be with you.

You see Jesus said in John 16:33 -"I  have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you WILL have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world". Apart from the fact that this word is so personal when you are close to Jesus, I hope you didn't skip the "YOU WILL" part? Listen, amongst many "ear itching" sermons today, this is the part that get glossed over. A gospel of "Jesus will give you everything" has become the order of the day, for a lot of religious gatherings. In an attempt to keep the crowd coming back, they are sold a gospel of "no challenges". That is a gospel founded on a lie. Challenges are inevitable, but Jesus promises peace in Him no matter what we have to deal with. Which tells me, that more than anything anyone has to go through, peace in Christ is the most important. Do you have peace? This is what makes all the difference!

Our focal scripture reminds us that, the action is around Jesus. Oh! that gets me super excited! Have you ever seen someone running a race and looking down at the same time? I mean that will super slow him down wouldn't it? Another version says "set your mind on the things that are above" When we lack peace in any situation, when we get into the confusion ring and suddenly allow the pressures of life weight us down.  Our eyes are on the ground and no longer where the action is. We have lost our 3D Perspective. The bible says "look up and be alert to what is going on around Christ" And where do we find what is going on around Him? I mean no place else except his word  -duh!

"If you are serious?" that part is a real trigger lol. This call is strictly for serious people. In the preceding chapter Colossians 2, Paul covers "spiritual fullness and freedom from human rules", and then goes on to start off chapter 3 with a bang. Like if you really want to be victorious in this walk. If you really want to make it far, if you really want to get so much out of your relationship with God, you gotta be ready to be done with shuffling along, done with eyes on the ground, like done done with being absorbed with frivolities, but Christ centered and focused.  MAGIC!!!!!!!

When we are focused, our view and perspective of all that happens in and around us will be Godly. So my dear friends, it is not that we won't face challenges because we certainly WILL. What makes a whole difference is  when we get on the 3D band wagon
