Days Of Pleasure ♡♡♡
.....It's been almost a year since I last blogged. I took a long break after fighting some mighty goliaths in my life. A lot of beautiful things have happened to me since then. One of which includes becoming a mum to some little people.
It's so funny how in recent times, I have felt a little timid saying or sharing anything related to becoming a mother. In my head I echo these words - "we have heard, it's enough" - Haven shared this joy so many times, I almost feel like I need to now hush and hide under a table. Did I hear someone say "Insecurities?" You are not far from the truth, but don't blame me, I have encountered some weird energies since I stepped into this new season, hence the timidity. But, you know how we do? We do not not hide a lamp under a bushel. Since I have always been honest about my struggles, It is with the same passionate energy I would my joy - so excuse me if I am a little too much.
This child is grateful........
"Sarah laughed to herself saying - "After I have grown old and my husband is old, shall I have pleasure? - Genesis 18;12
Indeed these are the days of pleasure. God has made me and my household laugh....
This new season comes with a lot of sacrifice, pruning, re-discovering, re-learning and building, as we raise "our giants". I have tapped into and unlocked layers of strength, I never imagined I could ever have. So whilst I am in this season of re-learning, reshaping and remolding: join me back every Sunday for what it is I love to do best.
I am excited to continue in the sharing of my "faith life" with you. And you know with me, we always keep it real. I'll be kicking off with a series titled "Larva" - If the butterfly comes to mind, you are bang on the money. Larva, is the main feeding stage of the butterfly, which is really where I am at, at the moment. I'll be sharing some of things I am learning, because I am all about you and I thriving in this place called LIFE!
Till next time. Ah, It's always love from me :)
Shay!
